How do we make our coffee yarn? Ccilu rescues Spent Coffee Grounds (SCGs) from cafés across Taiwan that would otherwise go to landfills. These grounds are then upcycled in S.Café® eco-friendly coffee yarn and combined with recycled plastics to create sustainable socks. Ccilu uses an energy-efficient process to 3D print vibrant colors that won’t fade with time. Each pair uses two cups of coffee grounds.
